As an educational facility, Thangde Gatsal is committed to ensuring the survival of this art form through educating and training new generations of artists. Thangde Gatsal encourages individuals to sponsor students to cover the cost of this education.
These tax deductible gifts specifically pay for the total individual costs of educating one student for an entire year; including: materials used by the student; training; and all costs of living, such as food, medical coverage and care, and housing. Individuals may choose to sponsor a student at a variety of levels.
- Unicorn Student Sponsorship – $375 X 6 months = $ 375
Annual update, letter from the student, and an explanation of what the sponsorship is funding. - Magical Deer Student Sponsorship – $750 X 1 Year = $ 750
Annual update, student sketches, student profile/biography with picture, letter from the student, and an explanation of what the sponsorship is funding. - Phoenix Student Sponsorship – $750 X 3 Years = $2,250 payable over 3 years
All of the benefits of Magical Deer Sponsorship. 10% discount on a Thangka commission. - Golden Fish Total Student Sponsorship – $750 X 6 Years = $4,500 over 6 years
All of the benefits of Unicorn, Magical Deer and Phoenix Sponsorships Completely covers the cost of educating a student through the entire curriculum. Donor will receive one Thangka painting, painted by the student they sponsored, at the end of the six years of sponsorship.
